The Bath Detective

This is the Bath Detective Trilogy, three murders, three books and all centred in Bath. But the Georgian façade of the city hides the less than respectable. The Glastonbury traveller murdered after being used as a plaything for the more sordid of the smart set of the city. Sally Keemer, beautiful, desirable, everyone’s friend and very, very dead. Then along comes Cinderella. Magic land of panto, but there’s nothing make-believe  about the way she’s found hanging high above the stage of the famous theatre. You can retrace every step of the killers in the Bath Detective trilogy and the steps taken by the eccentric policeman, Detective Inspector James Boswell Hodge Leonard. The city laid bare, is how one reviewer described The Bath Detective – and he was a policeman.

Christopher Lee is planning to return to Bath in 2006 to start work on a further trilogy.
